A glimpse of new drama ~ Dong Yi

I was supposed to start on Merchant Kim Man-deok after seeing Shim Eun-kyung (I liked her from the time she acted in The Legend) is cast as the young Man Deok. KBS world channel was showing the BTS of her and the other guy, Do Ji-han, whom I believe is relatively new in the industry but have heard others sing praises of him. He is the one who acted as the young chap in Will it snow at Christmas? Anyway… After all those hoo-ha… I went to download Dong Yi seeing that the episodes are already up. What a fool. Read More…
Wish Upon a Star: Episode 5
Once again, Nami’s cries are making everyone stay awake. When Joon-ha and Tae-gyu check on the siblings and realize Pul-gang has taken a part-time job at a sauna to earn more money. The two feel sorry as they know very well why she needs that income for, yet they do nothing to help. On the second level, Kang-ha cannot sleep either because of the cries and grumbles about Pul-gang.

a tired-looking mother
I won’t say I the drama is bad, but when days start to get busier, I’m certainly going to put this one side. Still, this is one fun and empathetic episode I’m watching. Fun because of Tae-gyu, who acts like a fool at home, who is bullied around by everyone, especially his bad-ass uncle, Pul-gang and the kids. Empathetic because of the Shin family. Why are they so poor thing? One minor issue though, the kids not schooling are they having holidays now? Or they have no money to attend schools?
